Reaching Community Through Established Tamil Businesses & Platforms
The first idea is to reach out to key Tamil organizations around various provinces of New Zealand. The following is a list of associations but not limited:
Auckland Tamil Association, (Member Organization)
Tamil Association of New Zealand (Auckland) (Member Organization)
Wellington Mutamizh Sangam (Member Organization)
Fijian Tamil Association (Then India Sanmarga Ikya Sangam), Porirua (Member Organization)
Tamil Society of Waikato (Member Organization)
Tauranga Tamil Sangam (Associate Member)
Taranaki Tamil Sangam (Associate Member)
Canterbury Indian Tamil Association (Member Organization)
Dunedin Tamil Society (Member Organization)
Invercargill Tamil Sangam (Associate Member)
Blenheim Tamil Sangam (Associate Member)
The second way is to reach out to various established businesses particularly Tamil businesses and have our Tamil & English prepared broachers to be circulated around both via their digital platform and physical copies in their locations. The probability of Tamil people visiting these businesses are very high and as such this maximises our project reach and this will in turn help Tamil people reach us.
The third idea is through places of worship. There are various established temples around New Zealand provinces. During a religious/festive day, it is expected that majority of Tamil population would attend such events for prayers/worship. So, the result is more Tamil population gets to know about our project existence.
